18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Neoclassical game table from Piacenza, supported by truncated pyramidal legs tightened by a collar in the upper band and equipped with bronze feet, the undertop band is shaped and is inlaid in maple with phytomorphic motifs and a couple of birds; the top also has an inlay with a flowery branch on which there is a parrot. In walnut, the interiors are in spruce. The original mechanism that allowed the legs to be stretched is blocked.

Emilia Romagna, XVIII Century

Baroque coffee table supported by wavy legs, in walnut, the top is decorated with phytomorphic maple inlays. The mechanism that allowed the opening was blocked and modified, transforming it into a fixed table.

Emilia Terzo Quarto XVIII Century

Baroque folding table in walnut and poplar burl, Emilia third quarter of the 18th century. Openable top with central mirrored geometric design in poplar briar, maple thread and perimeter border in poplar briar, shaped and gouge-carved band, wavy fluted legs ending with curled feet. Bronze hinges.

Baroque game table, supported by wavy legs, two of which rotate to support the openable top. In walnut, veneered in walnut briar on the top and on the outside of the legs. The internal drawers were added later.

Rolo, Second Half XIX Century

Round coffee table manufactured by Rolo. Walnut veneered top with geometric inlays in various woods; centre bears medallion with courtly dance scene in maple and stained maple. Turned elm base embellished with fillets that also continue on the curved legs.

France, Late XIX Century

Demi lune console game table in Directory style, mahogany veneer, France, late 19th century. By extracting the drawer in the band the top can be opened revealing the cloth playing surface. Deficiencies in the veneer, cloth to be replaced.

Italy, XX Century

Small biscuit table in bois de rose with shaped and inlaid top depicting floral motifs and oval ebonised wood reserve depicting musical panoply in the centre. Ornamental bronze running all the way along the under-top band, three legs carved with small applied bronze flowers connected by cross-bar with small pinnacle below. Italy 20th century.

France, Mid XIX Century

Coffee table supported by lyre legs carved in the shape of swans and resting on wavy feet and ending with bronze feral feet equipped with wheels, present turned and carved crosspiece; the top has a railing and can be opened, giving access to the internal compartment. Maple burl veneer.

Italy, Mid XIX Century

Ancient Étagère with briar veneered top, drawer under the top and four shelves supported and connected by turned legs. Feet with wheels. Shortcomings on the plan.
