For our " Purchase Request " and " Online Sale " services on the site and for purchases at our stores, we provide these Certificates.

  • Certificate of Authenticity (attests the stylistic-constructive characteristics, the antiquarian relevance and the regional origin of the asset and is issued by an expert)
  • Certificate of Lawful Provenance (it is a private deed that certifies that the purchased good has lawful and safe origins, that it has not been stolen and that it is changing ownership. The document will contain the seller's data ( Di Mano in Mano ), the description of the purchased good, the internal code of the product, the photo of the product;
    With this document, the customer can be sure that, if questions arise regarding the lawful origin of the goods, Di Mano in Mano assumes all responsibility)
  • Expertise (historical-cultural study document relating exclusively to the pieces of greatest antiquarian value ).


We use these Packaging Guidelines .

Given the material treated, we pay particular attention to the packaging methodologies.
These methodologies require different processes depending on the object, which affect both the timing and the shipping costs .
Depending on the type of object to be shipped, a different packaging method will be opted for, which may vary from a single wrap with bubble wrap or cardboard to more complex, stacked and boxed wraps.
The packaging will take place after disassembling the object, when possible.
Packing material is non-returnable.
The operation will conclude with labeling and transport documentation .

Packaging Books

Each ordered item will be packed according to its weight.
Whenever possible, the packaging will be in protective cardboard.

Warning: for items picked up at the delivery warehouse in Cambiago (Milan) Via XXV Aprile 57, no packaging is provided : if the customer so wishes, the cost of packaging is to be added to the cost of the object itself.

In any case, the packing will take place only in the face of prior communication.


Shipping Furniture , Furnishing Accessories and Art.
First of all, it is useful to clarify that shipping Antiques , Modern Design and Art objects and furnishings requires a series of slow and delicate operations, therefore, in some cases, delivery cannot be timely.

The costs necessary for the shipment of the goods are calculated on the actual size of the objects and their destination.
We use the main couriers on the market such as FedEx , BRT , DHL and SDA , trusted shippers or we personally deliver the purchased goods .

Delivery - unless otherwise agreed - is intended outside the home by truck (ie, as per the contract, the courier is not required to unload the goods); any deliveries with tail lift (to bring the object to road height) will be agreed upon during the purchase with our customer assistance.
Generally, except where explicitly stated, shipping costs are free !
However, you can check whether or not the shipping costs are indicated in the product catalogue, while the rest of the services can be viewed during the purchase confirmation phase.

The carrier will arrange the delivery directly with the customer by telephone.
Our shipments always include packaging which is carried out in any case.
Shipments are made only after payment has been registered.
(In case of bank transfer it takes four/five working days).
The time necessary for a payment to be credited is not attributable to the delay in shipment.
Once the payment operations for the product itself and for the ancillary services, if foreseen and agreed, have been carried out, we undertake to deliver the packaged product to the carrier as quickly as possible.
We do our best to ensure that the products arrive in the best conditions but we cannot be held responsible for any damage deriving from any delay during transport.
We ask the customer to indicate a delivery address where someone is always present (including a workplace, a neighbor, etc.), and a telephone number where it is always available. In case of non-delivery, the courier may contact you or leave a ticket with the instructions to follow.

Normally for orders placed before 10.00 (on a working day) we are able to prepare the shipment on the same day.

The cash on delivery service provides for a surcharge of €4.00 including VAT on the shipment.
For orders over 5kg the costs will be increased according to the weight, and in this case you will be contacted by our customer service to agree on the actual purchase and shipping cost of the product.

In case of damage caused by the carrier, please contact us with confidence; we will take steps to give you compensation according to the applicable laws in force

The methods we use are as follows:

1. vector shipping : reimburses 1 euro per kg as per law 450 on transport.
Included in the packing and shipping costs indicated, in the event of damage, a refund of 1 euro per kg is calculated, as required by law 450 on vector transport.

2. optional insured shipping : refund the entire amount paid for the item.
If desired, it is possible to insure the shipment on the value of the goods . In case of damage, the total amount paid to us for the purchase will be refunded. It is a recommended mode in cases of expensive objects. In this case, the damaged goods must necessarily be returned.

If a damaged item is delivered, the customer must necessarily sign the waybill presented by the courier with reserve. Otherwise it will not be possible to make a claim for damages.
It is the buyer's full right to check the goods before picking them up .
If the courier does not allow these operations, he commits a serious fault, our advice in this case is to sign with reserve, specifying that you have been prevented from carrying out checks.

The Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.
This right consists in the right to return the purchased goods to the seller and in the consequent reimbursement of the purchase price.

How to use it?

Make sure you have the following data ready and promptly communicate them to Di Mano in Mano Soc Coop:

- Bank coordinates (IBAN and BIK CODE) on which you want the transfer payment to be made.

1. Send, by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, a written and signed declaration of the will to exercise the right of withdrawal summarizing all the data indicated above and requested (also including any authorization to credit the amount to the bank account held to third parties), directing it to our offices in Viale Espinasse 99, 20156 Milan .

2. Within the same period of fifteen working days, you must return the goods intact and, if packaged, with the same packaging used for delivery.

How to carry out the return shipment?

Pack the materials carefully, if possible, in the same packaging used for delivery.
Write the destination address, the withdrawal code (sent by email) and the sender on the parcel.

Transfer processing times for reversal of payment to the customer

Di Mano in Mano Soc Coop, if the procedure indicated above is carried out correctly and if it ascertains that the product is completely intact in all its parts, will provide within 30 working days of receiving the goods to credit the customer with the amount (EC Court judgment of 04/15/2010 - case C511/08).

Jurisdiction and Competent Court

Any dispute relating to the application, execution, interpretation and violation of purchase contracts entered into "online" via the website is subject to Italian jurisdiction; although not expressly provided therein, these general conditions refer to the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 206 of 09.06.2005. For any dispute between the parties regarding this contract, the Court of Milan (MI) (Italy) will be competent.
